Yes, the ROPOT-Lite system takes care of itself with finesse. It automatically triggers the backflushing mode upon power activation, after each filtration cycle, and if left unused for over 24 hours. This self-cleaning not only keeps the internal tube and free from contaminant buildups but minimizes maintenance efforts.
What is the PH level of ROPOT-Lite filtered water?
The water from Bluevua Reverse Osmosis Systems might start off at a neutral pH of 7 but can drop to around 6.2 after filtration when it reacts with carbon dioxide to form carbonic acid (H2CO3). The purer the water, the more CO2 it absorbs, making it more acidic. To address this, Bluevua has introduced a mineral filter in ROPOT-Lite to restore minerals and raise pH for balanced alkalinity.
How should I store the ROPOT-Lite unit if I'm not gonna use it for a period?
If you plan for a long trip, don’t forget to store your ROPOT-Lite the right way. Start by backflushing the unit. Then, drain the filter by pressing down on the 3 holes at the bottom of the filter. Store the drained filter in the fridge at around 41°F/5°C. Keep your ROPOT-Lite unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. When you return, backflush the unit 3 times before using it again. And remember, don’t drink the initial water. Everything will be in optimal condition for your homecoming. Safe travels!

Second, my order had a mishap, & ultimately I think the original package was stolen from our porch due to the fact that the tracking through Amazon for the machine did not provide any notification of delivery. I worked with Cara from Bluevua & explained the situation over email. She emailed back within 5 hours, & I sent my first email around 10pm!!! A new system was shipped & delivered within one week. I am so satisfied with the output TDS, the filter gives me clean and healthy water. Using filtered water to cook and brew coffee, I feel much more at ease now!
We love the simplicity and the design and the fact that it doesn't take up much space. The water quality difference was night and day difference compared to the pure filter we've been using for years. I do recommend adding the remineralization filter as it makes the water taste more like bottled water. Without it, the water almost tastes too 'soft' for us.
The machine delivers fresh-tasting water. How well it works is also very noticeable when sniffing the discharged water in the tank which smells like a lot of chlorine is in there, in other words the machine filtered all the chlorine out of our tap water and concentrated it in the discharge water. Great.
I have Poison Dart Frogs and Newts, so RO water is very important. This is great for when you can’t install an under-the-sink unit. I also drink from this now exclusively for the last 4 months and it's never had a problem and the water is so fresh clear and clean. I love this thing. Btw, the customer service is the best I've ever seen! Love it so much!
I’ve been meaning to get a reverse osmosis machine for the longest time. I was going to get the bigger one but decided on this one and it was the perfect fit I live. I use it for my humidifiers and for watering my plants. No more white dust from softened/chlorinated water going through my humidifiers! I cannot recommend this enough.
