Yes, the ROPOT-Travel system automatically cleans itself when powered on, after 30 minutes or 12 hours of inactivity, and after each filtration cycle. This process redirects feed water to keep the internal tube free from contaminants, simplifying daily maintenance.
How should I store ROPOT-Travel unit if I'm not gonna use it for a period?
If you plan for a long trip, don’t forget to store your ROPOT-Travel the right way. Start by backflushing the unit. Then, drain the filter by pressing down on the 3 holes at the bottom of the filter. Store the drained filter in the fridge at around 41°F/5°C. Keep your ROPOT-Travel unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. When you return, backflush the unit 3 times before using it again. And remember, don’t drink the initial water. Everything will be in optimal condition for your homecoming. Safe travels!
