This provided modest gains in TDS, hardness, and alkalinity, but it was enough to notice an improvement in flavor of the water-based drinks I was drinking.
The filter fits in the bottom of the lid for the carafe. It was very difficult for me to get this in place. Those clips just did not want to move much. But, eventually I did get this in place and after installation, there are no issues with it.
