Yes, the ROPOT-Lite(UV) system cleans itself automatically upon power activation, after every filtration cycle, and if left idle for more than 24 hours. This self-cleaning process diverts the feed water through the internal system, keeping the internal tube free from contaminants and reducing the frequency for maintenance.
What is the PH level of ROPOT-Lite(UV) filterd water?
The water from Bluevua Reverse Osmosis Systems might start off at a neutral pH of 7 but can drop to around 6.2 after filtration when it reacts with carbon dioxide to form carbonic acid (H2CO3). The purer the water, the more CO2 it absorbs, making it more acidic. To address this, Bluevua has introduced a remineralization filter in ROPOT-Lite(UV) to restore minerals and raise pH for balanced alkalinity.
How should I store ROPOT-Lite(UV) unit if I'm not gonna use it for a period?
If you plan for a long trip, don’t forget to store your ROPOT-Lite(UV) the right way. Start by backflushing the unit. Then, drain the filter by pressing down on the 3 holes at the bottom of the filter. Store the drained filter in the fridge at around 41°F/5°C. Keep your ROPOT-Lite(UV) unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. When you return, backflush the unit 3 times before using it again. And remember, don’t drink the initial water. Everything will be in optimal condition for your homecoming. Safe travels!
